Romans

I just sat down at a random desk (someone’s work station) in the hallway and saw the Bible verse that plays over and over in my mind.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28

Amen.

  1. Ever since I posted the prayer request on my status, people have responded. There are friends all over the U.S. praying for you guys. In the 2 years I’ve been on facebook, I’ve never witnessed a prayer network like this. God is working in powerful ways!

  2. Brad, keep holding onto that promise!!! He IS working everything for good, although it may seem incomprehensible right now.

In 2 Samuel 22:7-20 we can be encouraged that in our darkest moments as we cry out to Him for help, He will hear our cries and come and save us.

We love you guys and continue to pray for a positive report from the MRI results.

    With love,
    Janine and Shaun

  3. Praying for Stephanie right now. Can’t wait to hear the MRI results. Trusting in God and believing we’re going to hear good news.

  4. Brad, my daughter Heather (Funderburk) told me last night about this horrible time that you are going through. I am so concerned for you all! I will have your name put on our prayer list and send it out to some of our prayer warriors. Please know that we love Bill very much. He has been such a blessing in Heather and Graham’s life. He is the answer to my prayer for them.
I have a scripture to share. It is the first that came to mind when I was reading your last entry. Proverbs 3:5 & 6.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
We will continue to pray for you all.

  5. This is what I was talking about last night – God is listening and he cares about us. He sends us little things like this to comfort us. I know God is with you and Stephanie and I will pray that the MRI news will be good.

  6. You have such a testimony already! With so many people reading this blog–what a praise to God!!! He is doing a work in your family’s life and we are lifting you all up into His care.
    Much love.
